The M class hydra-Terra is powered with a 300 hp. Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine, an Allison Automatic transmission, and conventional axles.

Our Hydra-Terra vehicle is:

1. Brand new.
2. Built with mass production components available world wide.
3. Down time is minor due to readily available maintenance components.
4. Fast, capable of speeds in excess of 70 M.P.H. on land.
5. Our full suspension system provides much more off road capability and is all wheel drive.
6. On the water we are much more maneuverable and stable. Speed is comparable.
7. Power is available to both land and water propulsion at the same time and can provide 100% of available power simultaneously.
8. Width of 8’6” is legal width in the U.S. and also provides space saving for loading onto ships, aircraft for transport. 50 sq. ft. of savings per unit compared to a LARC.
9. The cargo deck is 29’ long in the 35’ long version 13’ longer than the LARC.
10. The Hydra-Terra is UNSINKABLE ! We have designed our vehicle to have foam filled compartments that provide positive buoyancy even if the plugs are removed from the craft and allowed to flood. (The salvage cost to the U.S. to recover just 1 LARC that has sank from BMU1 (Beach Master Unit 1) alone would pay for several Hydra-Terra units).
11. Greater stability, this has been proven by the U.S. Coast Guard testing between a LARC and the Hydra-Terra.
12. Free-board, we have 48” of free-board as compared to 10” on the LARC.
